Background
Stephen hails from Broadview Heights, OH. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2024 with a bachelors degree in Music Production & Engineering. He is primarily a guitar player, but he also sings, plays bass guitar and drums. He has been musical his entire life; he started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and picked up the various other instruments between the ages of 10-15.
He started recording and producing his own music at the age of 13 and has been releasing music fairly regularly since 2017 with various bands (Man Cried Wolf, The Groove Section, Gumby’s Fire Department) and as a solo artist under various aliases (Something Worth Saying, The Hollow). Stephen has also produced and/or mixed tracks for other artists; such as Hannah Heneden, Amira Noor, 15-Luv, Louise Kelly, Jae Cross, and many more.
Stephen’s musical roots are grounded in rock, alternative rock, and punk, though he is appreciative of all music. He also loves electronic music, pop, and even dabbles in experimental electronic music.

Skills
Stephen has many years of experience with audio recording and production.
Stephen started recording and producing his own music at the age of 13, and over the years has gained an abundance of knowledge about recording live instruments, mic choice/placement, mixing/mastering, full band recording, and electronic production. He also has several years of experience as a live sound engineer; he was the Manager of Caf Shows at Berklee College of Music; an entirely student run concert venue on campus. He also was a live sound engineer at a venue called the Mercury Music Lounge in Lakewood, OH.
He is proficient in several DAWs; Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and Ableton Live. In terms of recording consoles, he has experience with the Neve 88RS analog mixing console, the API Legacy analog mixing console, and the SSL Duality digital mixing console. For live sound, he is proficient with the Behringer X32 digital mixing console, Yamaha QL5 and QL1 digital mixing console, the Behringer XR18 digital rackmount mixer, and the Yamaha MG32/14FX analog mixing console.
